Rememberin Presidents - Prager Zeitung Czeck Republic

We are about to start a new year. Two Thousand and Twelve. Wow!

To my recollection, I've seen Seventy Two changes in the year. Amazing how many I've forgotten, you know, what happened in that year. Eat, Sleep and Work are about the only significant things I can recall. In all that time, every four years the people of this country held an election as to who would be the best leader. THE PRESIDENT of the United States of AMERICA. Boy, what a person must be to deserve that high office in this Republic. Leader of the greatest nation on the planet, chief of the most powerful army, idle to little kids, keeper of the faith, leader of men. WoW, what those folks must be like. Those I remember:

  • Harry Truman - (Give Um Hell Harry)... A simple man with a will of steel. Fired Gen McArthur when he started thinking he was more powerful than the President. Made the decision to drop the bomb on Japan. (not a hard decision at the time). Retired back to his hometown of Independence MO. Was a haberdasher.
  • Ike Eisenhower - General that led the Allies to victory in WWII. Great General, poor President. But he did nothing to hurt us.
  • John F Kennedy - Mostly image. Came from a family line of whiskey runners. Lived two lives. Married for image and position.
  • Lyndon Johnson - Texas country conman. Was in over his head. War on poverty (failed). Got us into Vietnam and didn't know what to do. Hired Robert McNamara for Sec of Defense. A whiz kid. Brilliant beyond words. A military idiot. Got lots of people killed for no reason.
  • Richard Nixon - "I'm not a crook". And he wasn't in the terms of when he served. Had crooks working for him though. Was paranoid. Ended the Vietnam war.
  • Gerald Ford - Got there cause Tricky Dicky resigned. A good man that was clumsey. An unelected President. Wife was a alky, that started a treatment center for boozers. That was good.
  • Jimmy Carter - Georgia Peanut farmer. Liberal & naive beyond words. Iranians captured the embassy folks and he was powerless to get them out. None of our enemies were afraid of him. He was and is a good man... but thats all.
  • Ronald Regan - Possibly the best President ever. When he was sworn in, the Iranians let the embassy people go. Were they scared of Ronnie, you bet your as..Recovered the military back from the Cotter days. When he said he couldn't remember, well he couldn't. He was honest about it. He had the respect and projected the USA well in the rest of the world. Destroyed the Soviet Union. An actor that could Act Like A President.
  • George Bush (Big George) - Military pilot that was there in the blood, guts and beer. Started another Wrong War. Made zillions in Texas. Ross Perot and he didn't like each other but great partners in the undercover world. Should have let Norman Schwarzkopf have his way. Knock off the Iraq army on the road, go into Baghdad, hang Saddam... Tell them. "Start something again, we'll come back"...and go home.
  • Bill Clinton - The teenage President. Did not respect the office. Worst President the military ever endured. Did all he could to wreck the CIA. On exiting AF One, Hillary told the honor guard "Don't stand close to me".... That said a lot. Claimed to be the first Black President. (What a Con).
  • George Bush (Little George) - Tried to correct what his daddy started. Empire building failed as it always does. AF Pilot F-16's. Was ready to get out when time came. He's tired.
  • Obamalamadingdong - Elected by people that represent the worst of America. Racist, idealist, and well, read on.
QUOTE OF THE DECADE:
This quote was translated into English from an article appearing in the
Czech Republic as published in the Prager Zeitung of 28 April 2011.

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of
entrusting an inexperienced man like him with the Presidency. It will be
far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to
restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved
electorate willing to have such a man for their president.. The problem
is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom
of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind
anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.. The
Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a
multitude of Idiots such as those who made him their president."

The Question of the Decade :

"Will the same people (plus illegals) re-elect this mistake?"
